Today was one of those beautiful winter days where you’re surprised by how perfect storm surfing / kiting can really get.  We were blessed by a short period south west swell which lit up every spot in Malibu.  On top of that, the south winds came up turning County line into a mirror image of what it usually is.  Goofy footers rejoiced…

That’s how you do them. Now try again without straps.

Our last swell just hit Hawaii a few days earlier where Scott Francis has been spending more and more time.  He called me yesterday telling me how well his new Naish kites worked and that the surf was big.  This is what that combination yielded.  Check out the video too.

Is on the Clout Team!  Ian is not just one of the nicest and most humble kids out there, but he just simply blows everyone out of the water.  And he does it without straps…

Today, after last night’s rain, we were blessed again with some good wind and waves down at county. 
Brandon and Alex came by and snagged a few shots of the action.
