Over ten years ago, deep in the heart of Malibu and inspired by the sports, people and the lifestyle that encompasses these 27 miles of coastline, Clout started as an apparel brand and quickly developed into a small core surf and skate shop.

Located just backyard to Westward Beach, Malibu’s premier barrel wave, Clout always employed and supported young progressive teens from the local community, establishing its reputation as a renegade source for youthful expression and influence.  Not afraid to show the rough edges of the community to which it resides, Clout took pride in being true to Malibu’s roots and paying homage to generations of surf and skate heritage.

Clout now celebrates ten years of innumerable surf and skate sessions.  Ten years in the community where we’ve been blessed to share a small part of everyone’s life that has allowed us to see young kids grow up and become parents themselves, where friends have come and gone but always remained in our minds, ten years where Clout itself has matured and proudly understood what it means to essentially support the lifestyle that is Malibu.  So with this new sense of internal maturity combined with some young and new creative input, we’ve decided to look back and really try to embrace who we are.
