There he is again, Warren getting barreled, working the cameras. This time, thank god, in the water.  Enough tennis already.

This weekend, we are hosting a Naish Demo here in Malibu.  Come by and check out the new 2008 gear, where Nick (from Naish), Ian (Alldredge) as well as some of the Clout Rideshop riders will be there to help set-up and answer any questions you might have about the gear.

ON SATURDAY - Demo will be held in either North Beach or further down by Rattlesnake trail depending on wind / lifeguard permission.

SUNDAY - We will plan a 7 mile downwinder from Deer Creek to the “Clout House” where we will BBQ and have some drinks provided by Red Bull.

We’ve all been working really hard for the past couple of weeks so last Thursday, after 2 days of sifting through marine junkyards, we decided to take a quick enjoyable and well deserved surfing break. 
Here’s Jeff getting towed by his brother Phil, taking the “enjoyable” part out of his break.

Today, I finally got a chance of launching her out to sea (Just realized how urgently she needs a name!)

After spending 20 minutes untangling the maze of cables, ropes and various parts (it’s been a while since any of us has taken one of these out to sea), we finally got her ready and carried her down to the beach.  The low tide and light winds didn’t help, but we got her out past the rocks, the surf and calmly cruised down to the next beach.  Despite the less than 4 knots of wind, she sailed oh-so beautifully! Now I really can’t wait to see how she handles some serious thermals.  Maybe tomorrow....

Today I picked up our latest addition to the Clout House.  A beautiful 1979 Hobie Cat 16 in mint condition, ready to sail.  Can’t wait…
